As an outdoor-loving family from Auckland, we were thrilled with how close we were to Kruger National Park - perfect for half and full day safaris. Our kids loved the wildlife-watching right from our balcony, especially when the local buck paid us a visit. The lodge was spacious, keeping us cozy after our adventures. One evening, Bernadette, our lovely host, personally drove us to a nearby restaurant due to some rough weather on the roads. We appreciated her warmth and attentiveness, making our stay feel special. Exploring the river nearby was a brilliant bonus, where we spotted hippos and elephants. For families seeking a welcoming atmosphere filled with activities, Serenity is a great choice!
